KPMG is an organization with tremendous momentum, propelled by smart, determined professionals who are driven by a singular ambition: to electrify clients with successful, cutting-edge solutions to their business challenges. The firm's momentum is also derived from its approach to the market and the way in which they help businesses create order from confusion. The firm is different because it provides insights that help clients analyze their business operations with uncommon clarity - raising their level of performance as a result.

The KPMG Internship Program

At KPMG, the firm's internship program is designed to provide a valuable learning experience. Because KPMG views its internship program as a "stepping stone" for a career at KPMG, all of the programs and processes it uses over the course of the internship mirror those it uses for full-time professionals.

You will receive training the first week of your internship. This training program will expose you to KPMG culture and leadership, and provide you with a knowledge base to draw upon throughout the remainder of your internship.

After training, you will be assigned to a variety of Client Service engagements for the remainder of your internship. These experiences will help you gain a better understanding of KPMG and a career at a professional services firm.

At the beginning of your internship you will set goals. To help you assess how you measure against your goals, you will receive formal feedback from your supervisor at the end of each client engagement, to help you identify strengths and areas for improvement.

Your internship will expose you to KPMG technology and how the firm utilizes technology every day. You will also be provided a laptop to utilize for the duration of your internship.

A number of social activities are planned throughout the internship program, allowing you the opportunity to bond with other interns and meet other KPMG professionals in a fun and relaxing environment.

You will receive a competitive salary during your internship and scheduling is flexible, allowing you to take vacation if needed.

Upon successful completion of your internship, you will be presented with a full-time offer of employment with KPMG.

KPMG has two structured internship programs. Both programs have the same vision and design. Some offices do make special arrangements if necessary.

Winter/Spring - this program begins with training the first week of January and is a 1- to 3-month program, depending upon your personal availability and the office needs.
Summer - this program begins with training in June and is a 7 to 10 week program, depending upon your personal availability and the office needs.
